Courage in leadership was the first topic on which stories were told in the Deidesheimer Kreis: Courage shows managers who do not only look at themselves. Courage requires presence, transparency and the commitment to what is said. It’s about doing what you have recognised as right – with a certain courage to take risks. It is also about standing by your opinion and listening to the voice of the heart. Courage is to say what is. If you show courage, you can look in the mirror later.
