Exciting questions arise: Does the new digital world contrast with our essence? Do “our souls” find their place in an increasingly standardizing digital environment? Is something fundamental changing in and with us? Could a “Soul 2.0” possibly emerge – “my Soul 2.0”?
The digital world presents its own values, norms, and structures. Much differs from the “old” analog world. Are our abilities for sensual, immediate perception and interaction atrophying, or are we managing to expand them? Am I gaining or losing ground in the virtual world? Can we still function without it? Is my scope for creativity defined? Does my “digital competence” suffice to seize opportunities and fend off risks?
What about (my) “Soul 2.0”? My experiences, fears, joys, surprises? How do we, as entrepreneurs, reflect on this theme, and how do we shape it with the people in our companies?
