What in my life has caused me to do things differently in the future? Which events brought me to reflect, to change to another level of thinking and acting? When changing direction, self-distance definitely helps: “I don’t have to put up with this in front of me,” said Victor Frankl. Not falling into the “everything is all the same” attitude. It is about our growth, about effectiveness and about more than just the basics of life. Many give up shortly before the goal. Why is that? Let us ask ourselves: How finite are our own strengths? Disengage or engage? Withdraw or retreat? ? When do I stop? When do I let go? What is the risk of not letting go or letting go? In the end, the decision does make a difference to what kind of life you lead. Even for your own legacy.
