The big issues of our time get under our skin more and more, burdening and touching us in addition to our own personal worries and challenges: Globalisation, overpopulation, the Islamic world, nationalism, despots, terror, etc. – information overload and media diversity make it increasingly difficult to recognise connections. The depth of the debate is missing.  Emotions dominate facts. Reason mechanisms are unpopular. And people like to lie that the beams are bending. We are currently experiencing a regression in civilisation like we have not seen for a long time, the dissolution of democratic orders and increasing polarisation and escalation. The individual issues do not leave us blamelessly behind. How could we have misjudged things so wrongly? Complaining, powerlessness and paralysis do not help here. Life does not happen like this. It needs a movement forward. We have to tackle it and set personal signs that move and encourage. It needs our unbroken optimism. When powerlessness comes and it still continues, the world belongs to the rational person. We can still have an impact as entrepreneurs, consultants and people. A (new) core culture: “Unbroken optimism. We can set an example!
